Had a pretty slow weekend here in OKC. The hot is really getting to me, it’s outrageous. Saturday was a slow day, slept in and went grocery shopping. Despite spending a small fortune on food and groceries, I still didn’t feel like cooking much, so I also picked up some frozen microwave dinners to bring for dinners this week to class, since I’m feeling particularly lazy.
Sunday was another lazy day, but at least I managed to make food for myself! No leftovers for dinner this week, though. I did start planning for another London Tube Challenge this weekend. (You may remember that I ran a version of the London Tube Challenge in 2015, but if not, you can read more here). Sometime next year, I will make a return to London to run another challenge. More details, and possibly a promotional page, to come soon!
Around sunset time last night, I took a trip up to the Oklahoma City National Memorial. It is very well kept up and the grounds keeping is top-notch. I snapped some pictures, which I’ve included below.
Tonight in class we will be spinning the airport around and using the opposite direction “flow” for a couple days. I’m not really excited for it, but if it’s part of the training, I’m all for it. I just wish, however, we could spend out time working on problems similar to the PA problems, but I guess the academy system is proven to work, so I’m not worried.
