Mixed bag

Middle of the week already! I love short weeks. Started off with a test today, which could have gone much better. I missed four questions (grr!) but one of them was total a BS question and never covered, nor was it in our book. Oh well. This next block of information is again practical information and I feel like I’m grasping it really well from what we talked about today, so hopefully the test Friday goes better. The information is on IFR (Instrument Flight Rules) departures/arrival separation, and visual operations as well, all information I’m somewhat familiar with.

For a better portion of today we spent time doing phraseology in the classroom and some part-tasking in the lab as well. This was a nice reassurance I’m doing alright because I did considerably well (demonstrating understanding of the material) when compared against the rest of the class. Tomorrow is the last day of classroom, from Friday on out it’ll be labs! Well, Friday is kind of a freebee since it’s a half/half, but tomorrow is the last FULL day of classroom!

Also…I’ve been having technical difficulties with the website this week. Things are patched up well enough to work and post, for now. If you don’t see anything for a few days, you’ll know I tried to post and ran into more issues!

Thanks for reading…that’s all for now.
