Final Week in OKC

Well, last Friday was my last in OKC, hopefully for a long time. We finished the run we had started Thursday, I ran North and South, which went pretty well. The problems weren’t overly busy and I felt I did pretty well. We stepped it up another problem during the middle of the day, and finally at the end of the day we did a single-sector problem which was supposed to be significantly busier. Maybe the instructors were remembered the wrong problem, but that run was super easy. The only “challenge” was breaking a 4 way tie to the airport in the first 2 minutes. Move along, people, nothing to see here.

This week is the last week in OKC, we have labs up through Thursday and then we are officially done with RTF. We are supposed to have a couple skills checks this week – but it’s pass-pass, so I’m not very concerned about it. Additionally, the problems are supposed to fall back in difficulty for the skills checks compared to the already easy problems we’ve been doing.

This weekend, I have been frantically eating food out of my fridge to reduce the amount of waste, making sure I don’t throw anything away on Thursday when I leave! Hopefully I can be on the road after class Thursday and headed back home.

Sorry for the short update, wrote this a few days late!
