As predicted, I’ve been awful at updating and maintaining a website that nobody reads or looks at anyways. Nonetheless, I do keep some journals/blogs (yes, I know this is so 2002 and nobody actually writes anymore, it’s all YouTube and vlogging to make money) and I like to publish them in the event someone would ever find them useful. They’re also a neat way to reflect on the experiences without opening a boring Word document.
But, I owe the good readers (and my future self) some much needed updates, because if I jump up and post my 2020 rambles without some type of interlude, people be confused!
So, here’s the short summary. As I fill in the gaps and ramble on about all these things, I’ll edit and link in the articles for each of these things.
2016- got hired as an Air Traffic Controller (my dream job!).
2016/2017, went through a bunch of training both at OKC and at my first facility (redacted).
December of 2017 – certified as a full performance level/Certified Professional Controller at said first facility.
November of 2018 – selected on a transfer/relocation request to a large radar facility.
December of 2019 – report to my new facility.
January of 2020 – back to OKC for more training.
March of 2020 – COVID/Training hold
October of 2020 – Back to work/training resumes
